What channel is Barcelona vs. Napoli on today? TV schedule, live stream to watch Champions League

2020/12/14 05:00

The TV channel and live stream viewing options for the second leg of Barcelona vs. Napoli in the Champions League Round of 16 are different than those for the first leg.

The second leg of Barcelona vs. Napoli in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 is finally here after a delay of almost six months amid the COVID-19 pandemic. But in the United States, the match will be shown with different TV channel and live stream viewing options than those that existed when the two sides played the first leg back in February.

When Barcelona and Napoli played to a 1-1 draw at Stadio San Paolo so many months ago, Turner Sports was the exclusive English language provider of Champions League action in the U.S. Now CBS has the rights, and the network is making Saturday's match at Camp Nou available on both CBS Sports Network and CBS All Access.

As for the game itself, Napoli, who could be shorthanded defensicely, have to be nervous about their chances even though a single-goal advantage Saturday would put them through to the quarterfinals. Barcelona captain Lionel Messi is rested and seemingly motivated, and his side has won 35 straight home matches in Champions League competition.

Below is all you need to know to watch Saturday's second leg of Barcelona vs. Napoli in the Champions League Round of 16, plus a complete TV schedule for the rest of the tournament.

What channel is Barcelona vs. Napoli on?

CBS was supposed to take over the exclusive English language rights for Champions League matches in 2021, but it did so ahead of schedule after Turner Sports prematurely ended its deal in June. So CBS is now the home for Champions League action in the United States, but it will not show any of the 11 remaining matches on its over-air cable network.

All Champions League matches are available live on CBS All Access, which is the network's online streaming service. A select few, including Saturday's Barcelona vs. Napoli Round of 16 second leg, will be shown on TV via CBS Sports Network. For those games games, CBS Sports Network has a channel finder feature for users across the country.

CBS Sports Network is available on most cable provider systems. It's also available from satellite providers DirecTV (channel 221) and Dish Network (channel 158).

Univision is still the home of Spanish language Champions League broadcasts in the U.S.

In Canada, Barca vs. Napoli is available via DAZN, which isn't a linear TV channel but a live streaming service on web browsers and streaming devices.

Champions League live stream for Barcelona vs. Napoli

CBS is trying to push CBS All Access, it's live streaming service, so the network is making all 11 of its 2019-20 Champions League tournament matches available on that platform.

CBS All Access starts at $5.99 a month, but it is offering a one-month free trial promotion for new subscribers through mid-August. Users can cancel subscriptions at any time.

Below are the devices on which CBS All Access can be streamed:

Because Saturday's Barcelona vs. Napoli match is being played at the same time as Bayern Munich vs. Chelsea, another Round of 16 second leg, CBS is also showing the Barca-Napoli game on TV channel CBS Sports Network. Which leads to more live stream viewing options.

As for live TV streaming services, CBS Sports Network is available on fuboTV, YouTube TV and Hulu, and all three come with free trials for new subscribers. Below are links to each.

In Canada, Barcelona vs. Napoli can be live streamed on DAZN, which has rights to every Champions League game, and offers a 30-day free trial.

The Champions League Final will be played in Lisbon, as well.
